Setting the Multi V IV address
Set the address of the Multi V IV Model by following the steps below.
- Make sure to install the Central Control PI485 on the outdoor unit in order to use the outdoor
unit capacity control option.
- The addresses must be set from 1 to 6 in the respective order.
! CAUTION
• An address must be assigned to each of all the outdoor units. Entering the same address
for two or more outdoor units can cause an error in the Capacity Control function.
Make sure to check and see if all the outdoor unit addresses are set correctly before start-
ing the product.
OUTDOOR UNIT ADDRESS SETTING
① The address of the outdoor unit can
be set by using the dip switches,
'SW01C', 'SW02C', 'SW04C' and
'SW04C' on the main PCB inside the
Control Box.
② Turn on Dip Switch No. 5 while the
outdoor unit is not running to set the
outdoor unit address.
③ After turning on No. 5, select 'Func'
in the display by pressing the red but-
ton 'SW01C'.
④ After selecting 'Func', select 'Fn5' by
pressing the red button by using the
"◀" (SW02C), "▶" (SW03C) button.
⑤ After selecting 'Func5', set the out-
door unit address by pressing the
"◀" (SW02C), "▶" (SW03C) button.
(The address can be set between
0~255.)
⑥ After setting the outdoor unit ad-
dress, complete the setting by press-
ing the red button (SW01C).
