5. Software Upgrade
In the HMI, you can easily upgrade the HMI by using the S/W Upgrade feature.
You can upgrade the software by following the steps below.
※Before clicking the 'S/W Upgrade' button, you need to first insert the USB device containing
the file to be upgraded into the HMI USB port. If the USB device is not inserted, you'll get
the following error message.
- Once the USB device containing the program is correctly inserted, the upgrade process will
start in below order.
Click the 'Upgrade' button to open a message box showing the progress.
Click the 'Upgrade' button to auto-
matically start the upgrade.
The error message will
also appear when the
USB drive containing
the program necessary
for the upgrade is not in-
serted into the USB
port.
If the upgrade process
is normal, a message
box asking you if you
want to start the up-
grade. Click the 'Yes'
button.
