Maintenance of the Machine Using a Macintosh
You can perform the maintenance of the machine using a Macintosh.
For details about maintenance, see page 98 "Using the [Maintenance] Menu".
Displaying the [Maintenance Utility] on a Macintosh
1.
On the [Apple] menu, click [System Preferences...], and then click the [Printers &
Scanners].
2.
Select the printer you want to use, and then click [Options & Supplies...].
If you want to use a network printer, select the IP address or the host name of the printer.
3.
Click [Utility] and [Open Printer Utility].
If [Maintenance Utility] is displayed, bidirectional communication is available.
