Installing the coin-cell battery
Note: After you install the coin-cell battery, you must reset passwords, reset system date and time, and
reconfigure the server.
To install the coin-cell battery, do the following:

1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See "Preparing your server in advance and removing
the server cover" on page 55.
2. Lay the server on its side for easier operation.
3. If needed, remove the old coin-cell battery. See "Removing the coin-cell battery" on page 108.
4. Install a new coin-cell battery.
