• If your server comes with one of the following microprocessors, only 2400 MHz memory modules are
supported, and the data rate of your memory modules is 2400 MHz:
– Intel Core i3-7100/7100T/7300/7300T/7320
– Intel Pentium G4560/G4560T/G4600/G4600T/G4620
– Intel Xeon E3-1200 v6 series
• If your server comes with one of the following microprocessors, only 2400 MHz memory modules are
supported. However, the data rate of your memory modules is limited to 2133 MHz:
– Intel Celeron G3930
– Intel Celeron G3930T
– Intel Celeron G3950
• If you mix memory modules with different frequencies in the same server, all the memory modules run at
the speed of the memory module with the lowest frequency.
• When you install memory modules with different capacity, install the memory module that has the highest
capacity first.
Installation order
The following illustration shows the installation order for the four memory slots. Install memory modules in
the numerical order as shown.
