LOG INSTALLATION
Read the instructions below carefully and refer to the images. If the logs are broken do not use the unit until they are replaced. Broken
logs can interfere with pilot operation.
Improper positioning of the logs may create carbon build-up and can alter the unit's performance which is not covered under warranty.
*Paint is included if touch ups are required.

Glowing wool (supplied with unit)

3/4" Crushed Iceburg or black glass
(purchased separately from log set)

1. S hut off gas and electrical supply, allow unit to cool to room temperature.
2. Open the front door of the unit, see manual for detailed instructions.
3. Carefully remove the logs from the packaging and unwrap them.
The logs are fragile, handle with care—never force into position.
4. Install Log 1 onto pin at the back of the burner.

5. Rest other end of Log 1 on top of pilot hood as shown below.

6. Connect Logs 2 + 3 by inserting the pin from Log 2 into the Pin Locator
on Log 3 as shown

Connect Logs 2 & 3
7. Carefully install connected Logs 2 & 3 onto burner by lining up pins on
burner with pin locators at the bottom of each log.
