2.3.1 Detailed Explanation of Setting Modes
Filter Sign Setting
If switching the filter sign ON time, set as given in the table below.

Selection of Thermistor
Select the thermistor to control room temperature.

The factory setting for the Second Code No. is "01" and room temperature is controlled by the indoor unit
suction air thermistor.
When the Second Code No. is set to "02", room temperature is controlled by the suction air thermistor and
remote controller thermistor.
"Filter Cleaning" Displayed or Not Displayed
Whether or not to display "Filter Cleaning" after operation of certain duration can be selected.

Fan Speed OFF when Thermostat is OFF
When the cool/heat thermostat is OFF, you can stop the indoor unit fan by switching the setting to "Fan OFF."
 Used as a countermeasure against odor for barber shops and restaurants.

Airflow Adjustment (AUTO)
External Static Pressure Settings
Make settings in either method (a) or method (b) as explained below.
(a) Use the airflow auto adjustment function to make settings.
Airflow auto adjustment: The volume of blow-off air is automatically adjusted to the rated quantity.
(b) Select External Static Pressure with Remote Controller Check that 01 (OFF) is set for the "Second Code
No." in "Mode No. 21" for airflow adjustment on an indoor unit basis in Table below. The "Second Code
No." is set to 01 (OFF) at factory setting. Change the "Second Code No." as shown in Table according to
the external static pressure of the duct to be connected.
