Defrost Ending Conditions
Defrosting ends when the following conditions have been realized. Note that defrosting can be
operated for 10 minutes at longest.
Tb: Outdoor unit heat exchanger temperature
Hp: High pressure
4.2.24 Room Thermostat Control
Difference between temperature set by the remote controller and indoor suction air temperature turns ON/
OFF the thermostat.
Condition to turn ON the thermostat: When T +0.5°C
Condition to turn OFF the thermostat
• ΔT ≤ –0.5ºC continues for 1 minute
• ΔT ≤ –2ºC (in cooling)
OR
ΔT ≤ –2.5ºC (in heating)
• When there is a rapid change from ΔT ≥ +1.5ºC to ΔT ≥ –0.5ºC
∗ ΔT = Indoor suction air temperature - Temperature set by the remote controller : In cooling
ΔT = Temperature set by the remote controller - Indoor suction air temperature: In heating
