Self Test
The EU-T432 has self test functions. Follow the steps below to perform the self tests.
Performing the Self Test
1. With the paper loaded, turn on the power while holding down the FEED button on the panel
switch. (If the power is already on, turn it off first before performing the self test with the
paper loaded.)
2. The current printer status is printed.
3. When the printing is complete, the message, "If you want to continue SELF-TEST
printing, please press FEED button," is printed; then the PAPER OUT LED starts to
flash.
4. Press the paper feed button again while the PAPER OUT LED is flashing; then the printing
(for the test pattern printing) is resumed.
Self Test End
After a number of lines are printed, the message ***completed*** is sprinted at the end of
the self test; then the unit enters the normal operational mode, with all settings initialized.
Note:
During the self test, check each LED on the circuit board. If an error occurs during the self test, see the
following section and "Troubleshooting" in Chapter 5 for details.
