Memory Link Commands

When using the memory link, data is sent and received between the host and
NT31/NT31C using commands such as those indicated below.
S Data Read Commands/Responses
These are the commands for reading the contents of the PT memory and
memory table in the NT31/NT31C. They are issued from the host and, as the
response, the NT31/NT31C sends back to the specified data
There are the following six commands.
- PT memory read command
- Numeral memory table read command
- Character--string memory table read command
- Bit memory table read command
- Screen data comment read command
- System status read command
S Data Write Commands/Responses
These are the commands for writing data to the PT memory and memory tables
in the NT31/NT31C. They are issued from the host and, as the response, the
NT31/NT31C sends a reply indicating whether or not writing was completed nor-
mally. It is possible to omit the response by a memory switch setting when writing
is successful.
There are the following eight commands.
- PT memory write command
- Numeral memory table write command
- Character-string memory table write command
- Bit memory table write command
- PT memory batch write (FILL) command
- Numeral memory table clear command
- Character-string memory table clear command
- Bit memory table clear command
