When all the side doors and back door
are unlocked simultaneously using a key,
the center interior light, personal lights
and ignition switch light will come on and
remain on for about 15 seconds before
fading out. (For further information, see
"Interior lights" on page 104, "Personal
lights" on page 105 and "Ignition switch
light" on page 106 in Section 1-4.)
The driver's window can be opened or
closed with the key operation in the driv-
er's door keyhole. (For details, see "Power
windows" on page 20 in this Section.)

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING
WITH
INSIDE LOCK KNOB
Move the lock knob.
To lock: Push the knob forward.
To unlock: Pull the knob backward.
If you want to lock the door from the
outside, set the knob in the lock position
before closing the door. The outside door
handle must be held up while the front
door is being closed. Be careful not to
lock your keys in the vehicle.
The door cannot be locked when the driv-
er's door is open and the key is in the
ignition.
The driver's door can be opened from the
inside even with the inside lock knob in
the lock position.
