2-2-36. IR-42 Board
1. Refer to Sections from 2-2-1 to 2-2-3, 2-2-5,
2-2-9, 2-2-13, 2-2-21, 2-2-24, from 2-2-28 to
2-2-33 and 2-2-35, and disassemble the unit
up to "AU-318 Board" removal.
2. Disconnect the SE-923 board and the HN-
346 board from the two connectors (CN102,
CN103) on the IR-42 board.
3. Remove the screw (M2 x 4), and remove the
IR-42 board.
4. Remove soldering at 14 points of the IR-42

board.

5. Remove the four precision screws (K1.7 x
5), and remove the two mount (C) connec-
tors.
6. Reinstall the removed parts by reversing step 5.

Tighten the four screws that fix the mount
connector (C) in the order of a screws first
and then b screws with the specified torque.
Precision screws (K1.7 x 5) tightening torque:
± 0.005 N.m (0.35 ± 0.05 kgf.cm)
3.5 x 10 -2
7. Apply a dose of thread locking adhesive
agent of about one third of the size of a rice
grain in between the frame and the four
screws that were fixed in step 6.
8. Reinstall each part by reversing steps 1 to 4.
