FTG Channel Map Editor

The FTG Channel Map Editor shows a single Logical Channel's data and the FTG Channel Map.
LOGICAL CHANNEL MAPPING
Select a Logical Channel number. Then,
assign the RF, Major, and Minor channel
numbers to complete the mapping.
After editing an existing Logical
Channel's data, click to commit the
changes in the FTG Channel Map.
Note: The application of FTG Channel Map Zone restrictions in the TV (see Zone Restriction
section in this screen) depends on the setting of Installer Menu item 027 HOSPITAL MODE (see
item 027 description on page 35 for further details). If Installer Menu item 027 is set to 0, Hospital
Mode is disabled, and TV Zoning / FTG Channel Map Zone restrictions may be set, as in Lodging
models (see also Reference section, "Using the TV Zoning Feature"). When Hospital Mode is
enabled, you can use Zones 1 to 4 to create custom channel lineups for channel banks 1 to 4 (see
also "Channel Banks Overview" on page 30). In the latter case, a checked Zone Restriction (1 to 4)
checkbox means that the selected channel is "deleted" from the same numbered channel bank.

Enter custom labels and select icons
by name on menu or by number.
ADD
After defining a new
Logical Channel, click to
add channel to the FTG
Channel Map.
UPDATE
SET CHANNEL ATTRIBUTES
Check/select Encrypted, OSD,
or Blank Video.
EXIT
Click to exit editor and
return to FTG Channel
Map Configuration Utility.
DELETE
Click to remove highlighted
channel from FTG Channel Map.
ZONE RESTRICTION
Set Zone (TV not
in Hospital Mode) or
channel bank (TV in
Hospital Mode)
restriction(s) for channel.
