Connection Procedure
Use the following procedure to connect the Industrial Monitor.
Ensure the Monitor is securely fastened to the mounting surface.
Ensure the mounted Industrial Monitor can be connected to power and peripheral devices. Remove
dust covers where applicable and store them in a safe place.

Use the following procedure to connect the Industrial Monitor:

Ensure the ground terminal
Refer to 5-3-1 Ground on page 5 - 17 for ground connection details.

Connect the power connector

Connect the DVI-D connector
NY Monitor Link connector

For an Industrial Monitor with a DVI-D connector also connect the USB Type-B port
host PC to enable touchscreen functionality.

Connect the optional slave devices to the USB Type-A ports
Precautions for Safe Use
Power ON after the DVI cable or NY Monitor Link cable is connected between the host PC and
the product.
The Industrial Monitor is connected.
NY-series Industrial Monitor User's Manual (W554)
is connected.
