1. To aid in future removal of the propeller, liberally
coat the propeller shaft spline with one of the fol-
lowing Quicksilver lubricants:
Anti-Corrosion Grease
2-4-C Marine Lubricant
2. Place forward thrust hub on propeller shaft.
3. Flo-Torque I Drive Hub Propellers – Install for-
ward thrust hub, propeller, propeller nut retainer
and propeller nut onto the shaft.

4. Flo-Torque II Drive Hub Propellers – Install for-
ward thrust hub, propeller, replaceable drive
sleeve, rear thrust hub, propeller nut retainer and
propeller nut onto the shaft.

5. Place propeller nut retainer over pins. Place a
block of wood between gear case and propeller
and tighten propeller nut to 55 lb.ft. (75 N·m),
aligning flat sides of the propeller nut with tabs on
the propeller nut retainer.

6. After first use, bend the tab straight, re-tighten
propeller nut and again bend tab washer to se-
cure nut. Check propeller periodically for tight-
ness.
