5. Apply a light coat of clean oil to the new filter seal
before screwing it on.
6. Screw the filter on until the gasket contacts the
mounting plate, then tighten the filter 1/2 to 2/3 of

1. Place a clean container under the fuel filter
2. Loosen the drain plug on the bottom of the filter
canister.
