To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

Heatsink

To remove the heatsink:
Power down the server (on page 26).
1.
Extend the server from the rack (on page 27).

Remove the access panel
3.
If full-length expansion boards are installed, remove the PCI riser cage.

Remove the air baffle
5.
Open the heatsink retaining bracket.

Remove the heatsink.
