4. Install the spring 4.
5. Hook the spring 4 to the slot e on the
2, and then temporarily
tensioner
tighten it with the bolt 5.

6. While pushing the tensioner in direction
f, temporarily tighten the bolt 6.

General periodic maintenance
7. Install a new timing belt 3 onto the drive
sprocket 7, and then install it onto the
driven sprocket 8. Then loosen the bolt
6 1/2 turn.

8. Turn the crankshaft clockwise fully twice,
and then check that the "1" mark a on
the driven sprocket is aligned with the
"▲" mark b on the cylinder head, and
that the "●" mark c on the drive sprocket
is aligned with the "▲" mark d on the
crankcase.
