Installing the clamp bracket
1. Assemble the distance collar assembly.
Distance a: 30.3–30.4 mm (1.19–1.20 in)
2. Install the bushings 1, 2, 3, distance
collar 4, and tilt stop levers 5.

TIP:
Make sure to install the distance collar 4 and
tilt stop levers 5 so that they are facing in the
same direction (aligning b with c).
3. Install the pins 6, hook 7, and spring
8.

Distance d: 3.0 mm (0.12 in)
TIP:
Hook the longer end of spring 8 to the dis-
tance collar 4.
4. Install the trim sensor 9.
5. Install the bushings 0, washers q,
clamp brackets w, e, and through tube
r to the swivel bracket, and then install
the self-locking nuts t. Then tighten the
self-locking nuts t to the specified
torque.
6. Install the ground lead y, and then
tighten the grease nipples u to the spec-
ified torque.
