Installation of LP
Conversion Kit:
1)
Shut off the gas and electrical supply.
2)
Remove the mesh barrier.
3)
Open the flush door and remove the
door.
4)
Remove the logs and embers (if already
installed).
5)
Loosen the 2 screws holding the Burner
Assembly to the firebox base. Slide the
Burner Assembly to the left to release it
from the orifice and lift out.
Remove the 2 screws, push Burner Assembly
to the left and lift out.
Installer Notice:
These instructions must be left
with the appliance.

for B36XTE using SIT 885 NOVA Gas Valve
IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!

Remove the pilot shield by removing 2
screws.
6)
Remove the wire clip below the pilot cap.
7)
Pull off the pilot cap to expose the pilot
orifice.

8)
Unscrew the pilot orifice with the allen
key; then replace with the LPG pilot
orifice, provided in the kit.
9) Re-install pilot cap, wire clip and pilot
shield.
10) Remove burner orifice with a 1/2"
wrench. Use another wrench to hold on
to the elbow behind the orifice. Discard
orifice.
11) Reinstall new burner orifice LPG
stamped #51 and tighten.
12) Remove regulator and discard. Install the
Hi/Lo pressure regulator onto the valve
with 2 screws as shown below.
13) Reinstall burner assembly.
14) Adjust aeration accordingly.- see
manual for details. 14)
Attach the label "This unit has been
converted to LPG" near or on top of the
serial # decal.
15) Replace yellow "NG" label with red
"LPG" label.
16) Reverse steps 4 - 1.
17) Check for gas leaks.
18) Check inlet and outlet pressures.
19) Check operation of flame control.
