• The crankcas e must be separated to service the crankshaft, transmission and kickstarter .
• The fo llowing parts must be removed before separating the crankcase.
-Alternator/cam chain tensioner (Section 10)
-Clutch/gearshift linkage (Section 9)
-Cylinder head (Section 7)
-Cylinder/piston (Section 8)
-Engine (Section 6)
-Oil pump (Section 4)
