CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT UNKAGE

INSPECTION
Check the gearshift spindle for bends or other
damage.
INSTALLATION
Install the four gearshift drum pi ns and two dowel
pins.
Install the cam plate a nd tighten the bolt to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 17 N·m (1.7 kgf.m. 12 Ibf·ft)
Install the gearshift spindle into the crankcase by
aligning the return spring ends w ith the spring pin
while pushing dow n the gearshift arm and set the
gearshift arm to the shift drum pins.
