Thread check spring and slack thread regulator

Requirement
1. The stroke of thread check spring 3 should be completed when the needle point
penetrates the material (spring stroke approx. 7 mm).
2. Slack thread regulator 4 should be so secure in its elongated hole that thread check
spring 3 moves approx. 1 mm when the thread loop is at its largest when going round
the hook.

Turn thread tension 1 (screws 2) according to requirement 1.
Move slack thread regulator 4 (screws 5) according to requirement 2.
The stroke of thread check spring 3 and position of slack thread regulator 4 will
vary depending on the material and thread and must be corrected according to
the sewing result.
