SOVRATEMPERATURA NEL
SISTEMA DI SCARICO
In caso di funzionamento irregolare
del motore con conseguente alta
temperatura nel sistema di scarico,
la spia rossa, presente nella multi-
spia, recante la scritta "SLOW-
DOWN" lampeggerà oppure reste-
rà accesa in modo fisso.
L'accensione dell'ideogramma
"SLOW DOWN" è comandato dal-
la termocoppia tramite la centrali-
na Motronic.

GIA: la temperatura dei
catalizzatori si è ecces-
ATTENZIONE
sivamente elevata.
Il guidatore deve decelerare im-
mediatamente e raggiungere
un'officina di servizio e far eli-
minare la causa del malfunzio-
namento.

ACCESA CON LUCE
FISSA: la temperatu-

ra nei catalizzatori ha
raggiunto un livello pericoloso
e potrebbe danneggiare il cata-
lizzatore stesso; proseguendo
la marcia la centralina dell'im-
pianto iniezione - accensione
interviene togliendo l'alimenta-
zione agli iniettori.

OVERHEATING
WARNING DEVICES
In case of engine malfunction and
consequent high temperature in
the exhaust system, the red warn-
ing light "SLOW-DOWN" in the
multi-function display flashes or
remains on continuously.
The "SLOW-DOWN" symbol
switching on is controlled by the
thermocouple through the Motronic
ECU.

perature is too high.
The driver should slow down
immediately and call in at the
nearest Service Workshop, to
have the problem dealt with.
IF
THE
WARNING
LIGHT
STAYS
ON
PERMANENTLY: the
WARNING!
catalytic converter
temperature has reached a dan-
gerous level and the converter
could be damaged. If you con-
tinue to drive, the injection-ig-
nition ECU cuts off fuel to the
injectors.

En cas de fonctionnement irrégulier
du moteur et, par conséquent, de
température élevée dans le systè-
me d'échappement, le témoin rou-
ge "SLOW-DOWN" sur l'afficheur
à fonctions multiples clignotera ou
restera illuminé en permanence.
L'allumage du témoin "SLOW-
DOWN" est commandé par le ther-
mocouple, par l'intermédiaire du
boîtier électronique Motronic.

convertisseurs cataly-
ATTENTION
tiques est trop élevée.
Le conducteur doit immédiate-
ment décélérer et se rendre
auprès d'un centre d'assistance,
pour faire éliminer la cause du
mauvais fonctionnement.
SI LE TEMOIN RESTE
CONSTAMMENT AL-
LUME: la température
ATTENTION
des convertisseurs ca-
talytiques a atteint un niveau
dangereux et pourrait les en-
dommager; si l'on continue la
marche, le boîtier du système
d'injection-allumage coupe l'ali-
mentation aux injecteurs.

Im Falle eines Fehlbetriebes des
Motors mit entsprechender Über-
hitzung im Ablaßsystem leuchtet
fest oder blinkend die rote Leuch-
ten mit Aufschrift "SLOW-DOWN" .
Die "SLOW-DOWN" - Kontrol-
leuchte wird vom entsprechenden
Thermoelement über die Motro-
nic-Zentrale gesteuert.
BLINKT DIE LEUCHTE:
So ist die Temperatur
der Katalysatoren zu
hoch.
ACHTUNG
Der Fahrer muß sofort
die Geschwindigkeit drosseln
und sich an die nächste Ser-
vice-Werkstatt wenden, um den
Schaden zu beheben.
BLEIBT DIE LEUCHTE
STÄNDIG AN: Die Tem-
peratur der Katalysa-
toren hat ein gefährli-
ACHTUNG
ches Niveau erreicht
und der Katalysator könnte u.U.
beschädigt werden. Wird die
Fahrt dennoch fortgesetzt, so
schließt das Steuergerät der
Einspritz-/Zünd-anlage die Ver-
sorgung der Einspritzventile
