Setting the exposure density gradient

Description
Changes the exposure density gradient in manual density mode, depending on respective image modes (text,
text and photo, photo).
Purpose
To set how the image density is altered by a change of one step in the manual density adjustment. Also used
to make copy image darker or lighter.
Start
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the image mode to be adjusted using the image mode selection key.

1. Select the item to be set using the exposure adjustment keys.
2. Adjust the setting using the zoom +/- keys.

Increasing the setting makes the change in density larger, and decreasing it makes the change smaller.
3. Press the start key. The value is set.
Supplement
While this maintenance item is being executed, test copying from an original is available.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The indication for selecting a maintenance item No. appears.
