• Starter plunger
• O-ring New
8. Install:
• Piston valve (along with the diaphragm)
• Jet needle set
• Piston valve spring
• Diaphragm cover

INSTALLING THE CARBURETOR

1. Install:
• Clamps
TIP
Align the projection "a" on the carburetor joint
with the slot "b" in the clamp.
2. Install:
• Carburetor joint
TIP
Align the projection "a" on the intake manifold
with the slot "b" in the carburetor joint.
3. Install:
• Carburetor
TIP
Align the projection "a" on the carburetor with
the slot "b" in the carburetor joint.
4. Install:
• Throttle cable
• O-ring
New
• Throttle cable cover
5. Adjust:
• Engine idling speed
Refer to "ADJUSTING THE ENGINE
IDLING SPEED" on page 3-6.
Engine idling speed
1550–1650 r/min
6. Adjust:
• Throttle cable free play
Refer to "ADJUSTING THE THROTTLE
CABLE FREE PLAY" on page 3-24.
Throttle cable free play
2.0–4.0 mm (0.08–0.16 in)
