10.1 Overview

This chapter discusses MAC address port filtering.

10.2 Configure a Filtering Rule

Filtering means sifting traffic going through the ONU based on the MAC addresses and
VLAN group (ID).
Click Advanced Application > Filtering in the navigation panel to display the screen as
shown next.

DESCRIPTION
Make sure to select this check box to activate your rule. You may temporarily deactivate
a rule without deleting it by deselecting this check box.
Type a descriptive name (up to 32 English keyboard characters) for this rule. This is for
identification only.
Type a MAC address in valid MAC address format, that is, six hexadecimal character
pairs.
Type the VLAN group identification number.
