System Interface
There are a number of LEDs on the front control panel as well as others on the drive carriers and
power supplies to keep you constantly informed of the overall status of the system. See Figure 3-1
for an example of the front control panel. These LEDs provide constant information on the system
and on the overall health of system components.

In addition to monitoring the activity and health of specific components using LEDs, the system
uses two buttons located on the front of the chassis: a reset button and a power on/off button. Use
the reset button to reboot the system as shown in
Figure
3-2.
