Before moving the saw:
Lock the
miter lock knob in 45 ° left or right position. Lock bevel lock
handle. Lock head assembly in the down position.
Never carry the tool by the cord or head assembly power
switch handle. Damage to insulation could cause an electric
shock. Damage to wire connections could cause a fire.
Model 3912 Compound
Miter Saw is shipped complete
in
one box.
1.
Separate
all parts from packing
materials
and check
each one with the "Table of Loose Parts" to make sure
all items are accounted
for before
discarding
any
packing material.
2.
Loose parts:
• Quick Action Clamp - Used to clamp work-pieces.
• Hex Wrench - Should be stored on the left rear base.
• Blade Wrench - Should be stored in the handle.
• Miter Lock Knob
• Dust Chute Elbow
• Dust Bag
• Operating/Safety Instructions

if any parts are missing, do not plug
in power cord or turn the switch on until the missing parts are
obtained and are installed correctly.
Installation
of Miter Lock Knob
1.
Locate Miter Lock Knob from Loose Parts.
2.
Assemble Miter Lock Knob into front of Table as shown
(Figure 1).
Do Not Over Tighten
