Electrical connection

 All electrical work must be carried out by a suitably qualified
electrician in accordance with local and national safety regulations.
– The plug connection must comply with national regulations. (The
electrical outlet must be accessible after the appliance has been
installed.)
– If the appliance is hard wired, a multiple-pole circuit breaker must
be used. The circuit breaker must have a contact opening width of
at least 3 mm and be lockable in open position.
– To increase safety, it is recommended that the machine be
connected to a ground fault circuit breaker with a tip current of 30
mA.
– If necessary, equipotential bonding must be carried out.
– The power cord may only be replaced by an original Miele part.
– For technical data, see the data plate or the attached wiring
diagram!
The appliance must only be operated with the voltage, frequency, and
fuse rating shown on the data plate.
This appliance can be converted to a different type of power
supply in accordance with the conversion diagram and wiring
diagram supplied.
The conversion diagram and the data plate are supplied with the
appliance.
The ground lead must be connected to the screw connection point
(marked with the ground symbol ) at the back of the machine.
