    YOU NEED TO: • Slowly open dishwasher door while someone grasps the rear of the dishwasher. Remove the drain hose and lower rack. Close dishwasher door until latched. • Install this dishwasher as specified in these instructions. • Installation should be performed by a qualified service technician. The dishwasher must be installed to meet all electrical and plumbing national and local codes and ordinances.

    LOCATION REQUIREMENTS IMPORTANT: • Do not run drain lines, water lines or electrical wiring where they can interfere with or contact dishwasher motors or legs. • The location where the dishwasher will be installed must provide clearance between motors and flooring. Motors should not touch the floor. •...

If this is not long enough, use a new drain hose with a maximum length of 10 ft (3.05 m) that meets all current AHAM/IAPMO test standards, is resistant to heat and detergent, use 5/8”(1.58 cm) or 7/8”(2.2 cm) inside diameter (I.D.) hose and a coupler to connect the two hose ends.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1- UNPACK THE DISHWASHER WARNING Suffocation Hazard To avoid danger of suffocation, keep plastic bag and other packing material away from babies and children. Do not use this bag in cribs, carriages and playpens. The plastic bag could block nose and mouth and prevent breathing.

    STEP 4- REMOVE KICK PLATE 1. Using a screwdriver, remove the screws attaching the kick plate to the cabinet. 2. Lift off the kick plate. 2 Kick Plate Screws STEP 5- INSTALL 90° ELBOW 1. Wrap the 90° elbow with thread seal tape, and then install it onto the water valve. NOTE: To avoid damage to the water valve bracket and/or fitting, do not over tighten the elbow.

    STEP 6A- PREPARE CABINET OPENING USING EXISTING UTILITY HOOKUPS • Follow the steps in this section if you are installing the dishwasher in an existing cabinet opening with utility hookups. • If you are installing the dishwasher in a cabinet opening that does not have hookups, follow the instructions under “Prepare Cabinet Opening Where there are No Existing Utility Hookups”...

Attach drain hose to garbage disposal inlet with screw-type clamp. 3. Use a rubber hose connector* with screw-type clamps* to connect garbage disposal inlet.

    STEP 6B - PREPARE CABINET OPENING WHERE THERE ARE NO EXISTING UTILITY HOOKUPS INSTALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTION WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect electrical power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box before installing dishwasher.     STEP 11 - LEVEL THE DISHWASHER IMPORTANT: Dishwasher must be level for proper dish rack operation and wash performance. 1. Align front of dishwasher door panel with cabinet doors. You may need to adjust alignment to be even with your cabinets. NOTE: Prop up one side of frame to hold dishwasher up off floor when adjusting front legs.

    STEP 12 - CONNECT POWER SUPPLY Use the power supply connection method specific to your model. Method 1 - Direct Wire WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Electrically ground dishwasher. Connect ground wire to green ground connector in terminal box. Do not use an extension cord. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, re, or electrical shock.

    STEP 13 - CONNECT TO WATER SUPPLY Compression fittings: • Slide nut onto copper tubing about 1” (2.5 cm). • Slide ferrule onto the tubing. Do not position ferrule on the end of the tubing. • Put the tubing into the elbow as far as it will go. •...

    STEP 14 - CONNECT TO DRAIN 1. Route the drain hose to avoid contact with motor, door springs, water line, cabinet, flooring or the edge of the hole where it passes through the cabinet to minimize the noise caused by vibration when using the dishwasher. 2.

    STEP 15 - SECURE DISHWASHER Depending on the material of your countertop, use either instructions to “Install to Countertop” or “Install to Adjacent Cabinets” to secure your dishwasher. Install to Countertop The dishwasher must be secured to the countertop using the two mounting clips on top of the dishwasher.
