4.3 User maintenance menu functions

4.3.1 Maintenance menu (for end-users)

Some general menu categories on the operator panel of the printer serve as maintenance
menus (but are not system maintenance menus).
The options available in the menus are as follows:

1 minute Sets time to wait for moving to Power Save
2 minutes mode.
3 minutes Moves to Power Save mode even during

1 minute Sets the time to switch from Power Save
2 minutes mode to Sleep mode.
3 minutes The start point is the moment when the
4 minutes printer goes into PowerSave.
5 minutes The printer will not enter sleep mode at
10 minutes the following conditions.

Parallel is enabled.
30 minutes
• Network is working on 1000Base-T Full/
60 minutes
Half speed.
• Error occurs.
1 hour Set the time to switch from Idle state to Off
2 hours mode.

Online Sets display deletion timing of clearable

Settings Functions
On Sets whether a printer is automatically
Off recovered or not when memory overflow/
tray request occurs.
(Wait time for recovery: 15 sec)
Off Sets time to wait for paper to be fed in
30 seconds manual feed.
60 seconds If paper is not fed within this period of
time, the job is canceled.
Off Sets time between stopping reception of
5 seconds job data and performing force printing.
10 seconds Does not perform printing and cancels that
20 seconds job instead in the case of PS.
