Introduction

This appendix contains the keyboard maps for all keyboard configurations of the PDT 8100
terminal. Each key is listed in the table with its value, depending on the state of the
keyboard.
As shown below, when the
displays the number '2'. After pressing the Alpha key, the first press of the '2' key displays
a lower case 'a', the second press within an allotted time frame displays a lower case 'b',
and so on.
Key
In addition to key values, VK codes and ASCII values are listed for each key, where
applicable.
Note: Function keys must be pressed and held to produce the values indicated.
Blank table entries indicate 'no functionality' for the key in the specific
keyboard state.
