Loading the Diagnostics
The Loadable Diagnostics provide a means to test terminal hardware and the RS 232/
USB connected peripherals, independent of system software.
The software is available on CD ROM:

The diagnostics consists of two Linux‐based bootable CD ROMs:
• E‐Box Tests
• Peripheral Tests ‐ A minimum of 512 MB of memory is required to run the
Peripheral Tests.
The following sections provide instructions about how to load the diagnostics and a
few sample tests to familiarize you with how the software functions.
You can load the software using the following devices.
• Internal DVD/CDROM Drive (Peripheral Tests only)
• TEAC External USB CD ROM Drive (2336‐K208)
• NCR Services: External CDR/W DVD‐ROM Drive (603‐9014774)
