Recovery Mode

Recovery process can be initiated by setting the recovery
jumper. At startup BIOS detects the recovery jumper position
and starts to execute the recovery code.
BIOS consists of the following three sections: Main BIOS,
NVRAM, and Boot Block Recovery. The Main BIOS section will
be updated during the recovery procedure. The NVRAM Sec-
tion and Boot Block will be preserved.
A BIOS recovery can be accomplished from a USB mass stor-
age device that includes the BIOS image file called
S2RQ_REC.ROM. To recover BIOS, follow the steps in "Recov-
ery Flow" section.

Recovery Flow

The BIOS recovery procedure is as follows:
1. Download the BIOS image file from the following web
address: www.QuantaQCT.com.
2. Plug in a removable USB disk.
3. Save the BIOS image file into the USB mass storage disk.
Example image file name: S2RQ_REC.ROM
4. Power off the system and all peripherials.
5. Short the recovery jumper.
6. Plug in the removable USB disk with the BIOS recovery
file.
7. Power on the system.
