TURN ON/OFF MESSAGE EDIT

EDIT THE TURN ON/OFF MESSAGE ........................1,2,3,4
You can edit the turn on/off message and store it in memory. Following four messages can be edit with 11
characters each.
TURN-ON MESSAGE
• Hello (Message 1) / Welcome (Message 2)
TURN-OFF MESSAGE
• See You (Message 3) / Good-Bye (Message 4)
1.
Repeatedly press the MENU button 1 to display the "Message" on the display window.
2.
Press the PWR MUTE button 2 to flash the "Hello".
3.
Rotate the VOLUME dial 3 to select the desired message you want to edit.

Welcome

Press the PWR MUTE button 2, then enter the character.
A. Rotate the VOLUME dial 3 in a clockwise direction to select the desired characters.

B. Press the TUN/TRK
C. Repeat steps A. and B. to complete entering the entire message.

Press the PWR MUTE button 2 to store the message. The new message flashes.

To return to the previous indication, Press MENU button 1.
Note
• If you make no button input or dial operation in 30 seconds, the message edit
will turn off automatically.
• Make sure the " Message " will be " on " .
• When entering a name, pressing the following buttons affects the display of
characters as follows.
: Changes to inputting letters. (Starts with " A " or change of a capital letter and a small
letter.)
: Changes to inputting numbers. (Starts with " 0 ".)
: Changes to inputting characters. (Starts with " < ".)
: Enters a space (blank).
