Integrated storage controller card

Your system supports an integrated storage controller card that provides the integrated storage
subsystem for your system's internal hard drives. The controller supports SAS/SATA and SSD drives and
also enables you to set up the hard drives in RAID configurations as supported by the version of the
storage controller included with your system.

Removing the integrated storage controller card

NOTE: If applicable, close the expansion-card latch on the cooling shroud to release the full
length card.
4. If applicable, disconnect the power or data cables from expansion card (s).
5. If applicable, remove the expansion-card riser
6. Keep the #2 Phillips screwdriver ready.

Steps
1. Loosen the screws that secure the integrated storage controller cable to the integrated storage-
controller card connector on the system board.
2. Lift the integrated storage controller cable out and move it away from the integrated storage
controller card.
3. Lift one end of the card at an angle to disengage the card from the integrated storage-controller
card holder on system board.
4. Lift the card out of the chassis.
