System Configuration Utility (SCU)
The System Configuration Utility (SCU) is a ROM-based configuration utility that displays the
system's configuration status and provides users with a tool to set their system parameters.
The settings are stored in non-volatile battery-backed CMOS RAM which saves the information
even when the power is turned off, and retains that when the system is turned back on.
Invoking the System Configuration Utility
The System Configuration Utility (SCU) will be accessed when simultaneously press the Ctrl,
Alt, and S keys.
< CTRL-ALT-S > to enter System Configuration Utility
The above message only lasts seconds. If you miss it, the computer will access its boot
process. You must reboot the system and try again within the time limit if you like to enter the
System Configuration Utility.
