up coolant
Engine cold:
the
coolant level should
be
between
the
minimum
and
maximum
marks
in the expansion
chamber
after
removing
the cap.
When
closing,
turn to
the
second
notch.
Cooling
system
It
is
imperative
that you use the liquid
approved by the
manufacturer
(PROCOR
3000
or REVKOGEL
107).
If this is
not
possible,
top up
with
distilled
water
and
have the
coolant
strength
checked by a
PEUGEOT
dealer.
When
the
engine
is
hot,
the
temperature
of
the
coolant
is controlled by the engine
fan: because this
fan
is able to
operate
with
the
ignition
key
removed,
and
because
the cooling
system
is
pres-
surised,
wait
for
at
least
one
hour
after
the
engine has
stopped
before carrying
out
any
work.
Renewal
of the
coolant must
be
carried
out
by a
PEUGEOT
dealer
every
two
years.
See
the
Warranty
and
Maintenance
Record
booklet.
