The

is protected by
a
flap.

OPEN
button
(14).
Insert
the cassette.
Press the
OPEN
button to close the flap
again.
Leaving the flap
open
does
not
prevent
the
operation
of
the cassette
player.
Selecting
the cassette
player
To
select
the cassette player, use the
SRC
button
(23) or
the remote control stalk.
The
system
automatically
adapts to chrome
metal
cassettes.
If
such
a cassette is used,
"MTL" is displayed.
"TAPE
1" is
shown,
confirming selection
of
the cassette
player
and showing the direction
of
play.
Both
directions
of play of a tape are
pos-
sible
and
are
identified
by
"TAPE
1"
and
"TAPE 2".
Operation
Continuous
playing of a cassette
Without
any
selection
action, playing of a
cas-
sette is
continuous,
from
the
moment
the tape
is
inserted. At
the end of the
tape,
the
direc-
tion of
play changes automatically so
that
the
second
side can be listened to (auto-reverse).
