Anti-theft
This
system
has
an
anti-theft
device
which
is
controlled
by
a
micro-processor:
you
have
been given
a
four digit
security
code
with
your
vehicle documents.
This code is specific to
your
system.
Keep your code in a safe
place,
never in
the
vehicle.
This radio-cassette
also has
a unique identi-
fication
number
engraved on
its
side.
Principle of operation of the coded
anti-
theft system
The security
code
must
be
entered
when the
radio
has
been
disconnected from
the vehicle
battery
(first
installation,
disconnection
of
the
battery or of the radio, etc).
Your
radio
will
only
become operational once the code has
been
entered.
Entering the security code
Once the
equipment
has
been
installed
cor-
rectly,
enter the code following
the procedure
(example
code 7349).
We
recommend
that
you
read through
the
ENTIRE
procedure
before
beginning
the
operation
(see
table
opposite).
