Coded
anti-start
This anti-theft
system
allows locking
of
the
engine control system by the
introduction of
a
four-digit
confidential
code.
Ignition
on (ignition

Green
light
lit: starting possible

Immobilisation
Immobilisation
occurs automatically
with
the
ignition switched off:
-
When
the doors
are
locked
using the
remote control or
when
the driver's door
is opened with a delay
of
approximately
30
seconds.
-
Otherwise,
at
the
latest,
ten minutes after
the ignition has
been
switched off.
The red
indicator
light
on
the keypad indicates
that the system is immobilised.
It
lights
for
ten seconds after locking of the
system and then flashes until the ignition is
switched on
again.
Unlocking
In order
to start
the
engine,
enter your
confidential
four-digit
code or operate the
high frequency
remote
control:
the red
light
switches
off and the green
light
comes
on.
If
you make
a
mistake,
re-enter
the
four-digit
code.
Each touch
of
a
button
is
accompanied
by a
bleep.
If
a
mistake
is made
when entering the code
(or
when
altering the code) the
operation
is
cancelled
and
a
buzzer
sounds
for
two
seconds.
If
an attempt
is made to
start
the engine with
the
ignition
on
and the
coded
anti-start
engaged,
a continuous
bleep will start as
soon
as
the
starter
is
operated.
If
three consecutive
incorrect
four-digit
codes
are
entered,
the key pad is
neu-
tralised
for thirty
minutes.

To enter the code for the first time

Switch on the
ignition,
the
red
light comes
on.

Enter
the code
1111, the
green
light
comes
on.
To change the confidential code
The system
must be in
manual
mode (see
p.56)

Switch
on
the
ignition.
2 -
Enter
your
code already stored in memory
(1111
on
first
use).
Code correct: four bleeps
and
flashes of
the
green
light.
Code incorrect:
four
bleeps
only.
3 -
Within ten seconds of
entering the
code
already
stored in memory
press
button C.

- Enter
your 4-digit confidential
code.

-
Press
button
C
to
confirm.
The code is
confirmed
by four flashes
of
the
green
light
and
four
bleeps.
6 -
Confirm the new code by locking and
then
unlocking
the
vehicle
using the remote
control.
