Problem
During transport water
runs out from around
the water container.
The iron or the
steamer does not heat
up.
Possible cause
If the water
container is
frequently removed
and inserted, drops
of water can collect
in the area
underneath the
water container.
The appliance is
switched off.
The steam hose is
not correctly
plugged in.
The iron has been
used for some time.
The selected
temperature has
already been
reached.
The steam ironing
system is in the
process of rinsing.
A fault has been
indicated by one of
the indicator lights.
The appliance is
damaged.
Problem solving guide
Remedy
Use a cloth to dry the area
underneath the water container.
Press the On/Off button s to
switch the appliance on.
Plug the steam hose correctly
into the steam connection socket
(see 'Connecting appliance and
components').
Move the iron or press the steam
button *.
Wait until the iron heats up
again.
If possible, turn the temperature
selector to a higher setting.
Wait until rinsing has finished
(see 'Automatic rinsing').
Remedy the fault as explained in
the following pages.
