^ Push the foot of the X-frame against
the ironing board until it clicks into
position.
^ Disconnect the iron or steamer from
its connection socket on the tower.
Pull back the sliding switch on the
steam hose.
When disconnecting the hose, make
sure to pull on the plug, not the hose.
Be careful as the plug may still be
warm directly after using the iron or
steamer.
A few drops of water may escape from
the steam hose when it is removed.
^ Store the iron and the steam hose
holder in the storage compartment at
top of the tower once the iron has
cooled down enough on the iron rest.
^ Store the steamer (on the B 2847) in
the storage compartment at the base
of the tower.
Never store the iron or the steamer
while they are still plugged in.
If the steam ironing system is not going
to be used for a long time, empty the
water container completely.
^ The steam ironing system can now
be moved to its storage location.
Do not store the steam ironing
system in rooms susceptible to
frosting, as frozen water in the water
container, steam generator and
steam hose may cause damage to
the appliance.
