● Position rest 1 (screw 2) according to Requirement 1.
● To adjust the spring tension, turn screw 3 (screw 4).
● Position thread regulator 5 (screw 6 ) according to Requirement 2.

Requirement
1. The stroke of thread check spring 7 must be completed when the needle point penet-
rates the material (travel of the spring approx. 7 mm).
2. When the thread loop is at its largest when going round the hook, the thread check
spring 7 must be lifted slightly above support 1.
