Circuit Protections

This projector provides the following circuit protections to operate in safety. If the abnormality occurs inside the pro-
jector, it will automatically turn off by operating one of the following protection circuits.

Fuses (F601, F602, F603)

Fuses are located inside of the projector. If all the indicators are not lighting,
the fuse (F602) may be opened. If the STAND-BY indicator is lighting and oth-
ers are blinking, one of the fuses (F601, F603) may be opened. If fuse (F601.
F603) opens, the power supply to the LAMP1/LAMP2, or LAMP3/LAMP4 will
be cut off.
Check the fuses as following steps.
The fuses should be used with the following type;
Location : F601 / F603
Fuse Part No. : K5E802BZA003
TYPE 8.0A 250V FUSE
0215008.MXEP, LITTEL
Location : F602
Fuse Part No. : K5E632BZA003
TYPE 6.3A 250V FUSE
021506.3MXEP, LITTEL
How to replace the fuses
1. Remove the cabinet top, main board, PFC/Ballast box1-2
following to "Mechanical disassembly".
2. Remove the fuses F601, F602 and F603 on the AC filter
board.
To install the fuses, take reversed step in the above.
