Turn off or unplug any optional devices connected to the printer.
Warning:
Do not touch, drop, or place anything on the transfer belt. Touching the surface of
the transfer belt or placing items on it may cause damage.

Complete the steps to open the top cover.
CAUTION:
The inside of the printer may be hot! Allow the printer to cool before touching.
