6 Extended Settings and Functions
6.1

Installation

The default settings apply to a standard satellite system. Any further system functions (e.g. unicable
system or motor antenna) should be manually set in the menu Installation:


 Press the key MENU.
 Select the menu item Installation and confirm with OK.
6.1.1 Antenna Type
 Select the menu item Antenna Connection and confirm with OK.
 Select between Fixed Antenna and Motor Antenna.
6.1.2 Satellite List
 Select the menu item Satellite List aus and confirm with OK.
 Select in the list of satellites those satellites, which you can receive.
 Confirm with OK. Selected satellites will be marked.

Antenna Setup

 Select the menu item Antenna Setup and confirm with OK.
6.1.3.1

LNB Type

 Select the menu item LNB Type.
 Select the frequency resp. the type of the LNB.
6.1.3.2

Motor Type

 Select the menu item Motor Type (the menu item Motor Type is only active, if you selected Motor
Antenna in Antenna Connection).
 Select the kind of control You can select between:
• USALS

Local Logitude

 Select the menu item Local Logitude. This menu item is only active, if you selected the motor
control USALS.
 Select with the keys V- / V+ die orientation (East / West) and confirm with OK.
 Insert the local logitude using the numeric keys (0~9).
6.1.3.4 Local Latitude
 Select the menu item Local Latitude. This menu item is only active, if you selected the motor
control USALS.
 Select with the keys V- / V+ die orientation (North / South) and confirm with OK.
 Insert the local latitude using the numeric keys (0~9).

In case of doubt, have those settings being made by an expert. Usually, there
are no required settings within scope of normal use of the system.
