Connecting the Receiver

 Place the receiver so that the mains plug can be disconnected at any time, correspondingly dis-
connecting the device from the mains.
 Do not connect the device, but leave it switched-off for some hours.

Handling of Batteries

Batteries should always be out of children's reach.
Leaking batteries cause damage to the environment and the remote control.
Batteries should not be exposed to extreme heat, e.g. sunlight, fire etc.
 Dispose of the batteries in accordance with the applicable legal regulations (see chapter Disposal,
page 29).

Notes on Product Liability

In the following cases, the intended protection of the device may be limited. Then, liability regarding
function of the device correspondingly passes over to the operator:
The device is not used in accordance with the user manual.
The device is used out of the field of application as described above.
The operator performs unauthorized changes of the device.

If the device is transported from cold to hot environment, then condensing hu-
midity may build up in the device.
 First connect the receiver to the satellite antenna and any other devices be-
fore connecting the mains plug to the power outlet.
 Please also note the user manuals of the other devices.
