You are able to add a number of options and accessories in order to make
your computer even more powerful and convenient to use. For reference,
the following list details some of the items that are available from your

A 512MB, 1,024MB or 2,048MB memory module
(DDR2-667) can easily be installed in the
computer.
A 1,024MB or 2,048MB memory module (DDR2-
800) can easily be installed in the computer.
If you frequently use your computer at more than
one site, it may be convenient to purchase an
additional AC adaptor to be kept at each site in
order to remove the need to always carry the
adaptor with you.
An additional battery pack can be purchased for
use as either a spare or replacement. Please
refer to Chapter 6,
for further information.

The optional battery charger allows you to
charge extra battery packs outside of having to
use the computer.
The USB floppy diskette drive accommodates
either a 1.44MB or 720KB floppy diskette through
connection to one of the computer's USB ports.
In use, please be aware that, while you cannot
format 720KB floppy diskettes under Windows
Vista, you are able to read and write to diskettes
that have already been formatted.
The TOSHIBA Express Port Replicator provides
the ports available on the computer in addition to
a digital visual interface (DVI) port, External
monitor port, four Universal Serial Bus ports
(USB 2.0) and a LAN jack.
